HELLO!

I am Mauli Pandey, currently a UX researcher at Google. I graduated with a PhD from University of Michigan School of Information (UMSI), where I was advised by Steve Oney. As a doctoral student, my research interests were at the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction, Accessibility, and Programming. I researched collaboration among sighted and visually impaired programmers and developed collaborative programming tools for mixed-ability contexts.

I completed my MS in Information from UMSI in 2018. Prior to that, I worked as a UI Designer with Adobe in India. My undergraduate major is in Design with a minor in Electronics from IIT Guwahati (2014). My past research includes personal informatics in recreational sports (master's thesis) and the use of VR in architecture education (undergraduate thesis).
